Roll-off and Slide-on Mounts

The slide-on mount is particularly popular with sports shooters and many champions all over the world rely on them. Tor Heiested and Michael Jakosits won Gold in Seoul / Barcelona with our mounts and Manfred Kurzer became world champion and in 1998 when he set a new world record (10m Running Target Men) at Zurich.

Slide-on or roll-off mounts can be supplied as many different models for all common weapons: one- and two-piece with various ring diameters or with prisms for almost all scopes, with and without windage adjustment, and some just an open sight.

Slide-on and roll-off mounts are available both as complete mounts or as single parts. Although they are simpler in construction, they are made with the same high precision like all EAW products, guaranteeing optimum shooting performance.

A further development of the slide-on mounts are the roll-off mounts, which are easy to fit, relatively easy to be put on and taken off.

The top models of the EAW roll-off mounts – the models 134/234 for small-bore rifles or 174/274 for bolt action guns – are each equipped with pivotable rings or prisms as well as windage adjustment.

This means maximum compensation of tolerances on the weapon and tension-free horizontal fit of the scope, especially also after the adjustment of the support; neither of which are possible with claw mounts. A special EAW mount for air guns is produced as the EAW SPORTFLEX mount with elevation and double windage adjustment. It is available for Feinwerkbau and Anschütz weapons.
